A fabulous mix of lamp-work glass beads in various shades of green are highlighted with splashes of red, yellow and blues – all the colours of a tropical island paradise.
Glass lamp-work is the centuries old art of melting glass with a flame to produce handmade “lamp-work” glass. The word lamp-work came from originally using oil filled lamps to heat glass to a molten stage. Although this process is still referred to as lamp-work, it’s also called flame working or torch-working glass.
Each bead is separated by a small round gold bead to allow space for the beads in this gorgeous Tropical Island bracelet to curve around the wrist.
A pressed glass heart dangles from the base of the extension chain. With the use of this extension chain and lobster clasp, the bracelet can be extended to fit a wrist from 17cm to 20cm.
