Tropical Island Lamp-work Bracelet
A fabulous mix of lamp-work glass beads in various shades of green are highlighted with splashes of red, yellow and blues – all the colours of a tropical island paradise.
Glass lamp-work is the centuries old art of melting glass with a flame to produce handmade “lamp-work” glass. The word lamp-work came from originally using oil filled lamps to heat glass to a molten stage. Although this process is still referred to as lamp-work, it’s also called flame working or torch-working glass.
Each bead is separated by a small round gold bead to allow space for the beads in this gorgeous Tropical Island bracelet to curve around the wrist.
A pressed glass heart dangles from the base of the extension chain. With the use of this extension chain and lobster clasp, the bracelet can be extended to fit a wrist from 17cm to 20cm. See my blog post on how to find your perfect bracelet size.
The bracelet pictured is handmade by me in Western Australia and ready for collection from Bibra Lake or postage can be arranged.

Other sizes, beads, and styles are available, contact me with your ideas. I can adjust the length of my bracelets, but keep in mind, that although shortening them is usually no problem, lengthening depends on the availability of the beads. Custom enquiries are always welcome.
See my blog post on how to find the perfect bracelet size. This is a great resource if you are purchasing the bracelet as a gift for someone else. You can also find information on the Blog on such topics as how to clean and care for your beaded jewellery including gemstones and other natural beads.
I edit my photos to show the beads as true to colour as possible, but the actual colours may vary slightly between monitors and in different light sources.
