Red and White Millefiori & Swarovski Crystal Earrings
Stunning Red & White Millefiori “thousand flowers” pattern are the feature of these gorgeous Red glass OOAK earrings. The main bead is a flat square measuring approx. 16x16x4mm.
Little red glass beads highlight the flowers while a delightful selection of 4mm (red) Siam, Siam AB and Clear Swarovski Crystals dangle from their base adding a flash of light and dash of sparkle. The Aurora Borealis (AB) coating adds even extra sparkle to the design.
Ear-wires are silver-plated surgical steel. A similar style in White & Yellow is available as seen in the gallery photo)
The Red & White Millefiori glass beads have variations in size, colour, opacity, and patterns created from the various glass canes during the creation of the murrine. These variations are what makes each piece special and unique.

The term millefiori is a combination of the Italian words “mille” (thousand) and “fiori” (flowers).
These beautiful beads are made of several colours within glass cane and the flower pattern is only shown on the exposed sides.
Millefiori beads have been uncovered from archaeological digs dating from the late 5th or early 6th century.
