Spinel

Spinel encourages moderation in all things. This stone can lessen anxieties or fear and is said to assist with fasting and aids in detoxing both blood and mind.

Spinel can be found in a wide range of colours.  If reading this information alongside the Metaphysical Properties of Colour.  Choose the colour of your stone for reference.

The metaphysical properties of this colour

Magenta colour properties

In this series of posts on the properties of colour I have included an overview of the metaphysical properties and information on some colours and the chakras that they relate to.  I have also included some lessons and affirmations.

Later, in a more in-depth series, I will build on the properties of these colours and how you can use them to your benefit.

Having studied the Aura Soma system of Colour Therapy to the Advanced Level I find the natural benefits of vibrations from colour intriguing and I’m always trying to find out more information on this subject.

Magenta

Divine love, Love from above, Love merged in service, Awakening, Deeply Caring, Love in the little things, Gentle, Dedicated, Compassionate, Instinctively know what others need – these are all aspects of these colours.

A love of beauty, Divine healing, Passionate – elevated above the desire of material things, Precision, Attention to detail, Caring in the doing, Enthusiastic, Power of imaging / visualisation / manifest the perfection of what you want, Awakening / awareness – these are all ways of describing the Metaphysical Properties of Magenta.

The Lesson for Magenta is

“The need for Divine love. The need for love from above”.

They may offer service, but without love. There can be a lack of awakening.

They may be uncaring and lack in “love of the little things”. They can have a sense of my feelings / thinking is wrong and a hidden shame at not being loved / wanted. Individuals under Magenta don’t always get their own needs met.

This colour can bring up feelings of abandonment, suicidal / self destructive thoughts (the world would be better if I wasn’t here) and although the may be loved they don’t feel loved.

The need for Magenta is

"for caring"

An affirmation suitable for this colour is

"I am loved and wanted"

Of course, this won’t happen just by saying it once off. Each and every time you feel unworthy or stuck in the past, just focus on the affirmation of your choice.

Another affirmation that would be suitable for this colour is  “I am deeply loved and cared for”.

This colour connects with

Atomic Energy, Japan, Hawaii.

The Chakra area under Magenta is the Incarnational Star.

Physical areas associated with this colour are the Cranial plates (cooling and distressing), Migraines, Hyper thalamus (temp control in the brain) and the Psychic gates – memories of past lives.

Crystals / gems that may work with this colour are in the clear, pink, gold and violet tones.
