Aurora Borealis (AB), a bead treatment inspired by the Northern Lights was invented in 1956 by Swarovski in partnership with Christian Dior, this treatment is applied to glass beads and creates an iridescent, rainbow effect. Swarovski created this processes by coating crystals with extremely thin layers of metal and vaporizing it in a vacuum.  Usually this coating is only applied to one side of the bead however it can be coated on both sides for a more dramatic effect.

Jessica Aurora Borealis Glass Bracelet

Alternating faceted and round glass beads are separated by tiny, pressed glass beads to create this spectacular bracelet. Each of the faceted beads has a beautiful AB coating creating an iridescent sheen and adding extra drama to the design.

The internal measurement of this delightful design is approx. 18.5cm. This bracelet looks fabulous stacked with others from the Midnight Collection such as Catherine and Victoria.

I have written a post on how to measure your wrist to get the best fit for your bracelet on my blog.
